Mexican Chocolate Strawberry Pie  recipe

Temperature: 350° F

Ingredients

Crust
  • 1 cup Chocolate Wafer Crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons  Sugar
Filling
  • 2 1/4 cup Cold Cream
  • 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon  Vanilla
  • 2 oz Bittersweet Chocolate
  • 2 oz  Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 2 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 1 cup Mashed Frozen Strawberries

Instructions

Crust: Combine all ingredients. Gently press into 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Let cool on wire rack.
Filling: Melt all 3 chocolates over medium low heat. Let cool slightly. Add mashed strawberries. Set aside. Combine together, in a mixing bowl, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat on medium high for 2 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Gently fold strawberry/chocolate mixture into the cream. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate for 1 hour. Finish with whipped topping and grated chocolate if desired.
