Love this baker!!

Until I got the Crown Bread Baker, I never made rolls. They now look so nice and I'm making them all the time. I have only used the recipe that came in the booklet, and they always come out perfect. One day, I will venture out and try other recipes, but for right now I am happy with the crusty rolls I'm making.

Next level bread-making

I love this! It is so nice to have portion-size lightly crusty rolls that can be pulled apart - not sure I'll ever go back to baking regular loaves of bread. I have used it different ways and each time they have come out great. The first time I followed the directions and put the dough into the buttered form to prove and from there put the form into the oven. Afterward I tried pre-heating the baker and proved the 8 balls of dough separately on a floured silicone sheet; then I placed the balls into the hot form to bake them more quickly (like I usually do with loaves in my other clay baker). I've made regular mixed grains rolls with everything bagel topping, cinnamon-raisin sourdough, and olive-rosemary sourdough. When I put the dough straight onto the hot form without pre-greasing, I put a little bit of flour at the bottom to ease the release after baking. They come right out of the form all attached in a beautiful ring. I highly recommend this.

Great bread maker

I got it yesterday and couldn’t wait to try it. I used a recipe for French bread and just divided the dough in eight balls. The rolls turned out perfect, not only delicious but in a beautiful crown shape. Great presentation for entertaining.
