Bake artisan-style, crusty, golden loaves at home with this long covered pan. Emile Henry's specially designed covered baker helps you make bakery-worthy, artisan breads with crisp, golden crusts and chewy, airy interiors. The domed lid and ceramic walls trap steam to create a dry, crackling exterior. Handles on the lid make it easy to remove, and the ridged bottom of the pan keeps dough from sticking. The base fits neatly inside the lid for more compact storage.
For Cleaning & Care of the product with unglazed area, simply use dishwashing liquid, water, and a sponge – rinse well and air dry.

Resistance Against Mechanical Shocks: During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, our ceramic is even used in restaurants!
Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).
Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

GREAT!
This is a great sourdough baker! Takes 650g flour at 72% hydration, makes fantastic loaf of bread….
Incredible artisan bread in loaf shape.
I love this thing so much. I ordered a second one. I can make a ginormous loaf with 750g flour! Everyone can slice it without making a mess of the loaf. Sandwiches, toaster, French toast. Perfect shape. You won't regret it.
Excellent vessel for baking rustic sourdough loaves
I used the rustic loaf recipe that came with the baker. However, I modified by adding 100g of sourdough starter and only a teaspoon of yeast. I also reduced the all purpose flour to accommodate the starter. Loaf is just beautiful!
Must have for serious bread bakers
This Bread Baker was on our daughter’s Christmas wish list. So, I purchased it for her from another vendor. Once I saw it, I knew I wanted one as well. So, I found it on your website and decided to just order it from the original source. Superior vessel for baking your French loaves. I love and own many Emile Henry Bakeware items. I hope to buy more to complete my collection.
Love it!
I bought this on my daughter's recommendation since she owns one and loves it. I was not disappointed. Looks beautiful and works even better! Highly recommended.
