Bake artisan-style, crusty, golden loaves at home with this long covered pan. Emile Henry's specially designed covered baker helps you make bakery-worthy, artisan breads with crisp, golden crusts and chewy, airy interiors. The domed lid and ceramic walls trap steam to create a dry, crackling exterior. Handles on the lid make it easy to remove, and the ridged bottom of the pan keeps dough from sticking. The base fits neatly inside the lid for more compact storage. 

 

For Cleaning & Care of the product with unglazed area, simply use dishwashing liquid, water, and a sponge – rinse well and air dry.

Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).


Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

Very nice enamel coated loaf pan

Emile Henry makes a great quality loaf pan. The pan is worth the money. A round pan is good , i like crust so the loaf pan is best for me. Pan is well finished.

Best Baker

This is the best baker! It makes a perfect sourdough loaf with same dough as for a boule. I have one to my daughter-in-law and she loves it. I had a fairly new one but somehow the top piece cracked and I quickly just ordered a new one without any hesitation. I highly recommend this baker for a loaf that easily cuts to sandwich-sized slices.

Perfect for sourdough!

This is great for baking sourdough if you want a loaf for sandwiches instead of a round loaf. Unlike a metal loaf pan, you get a great crunch crust on all sides. I like to remove the lid about halfway through the bake to get more browning on top.

Great pan!

Be sure to use a little oil to grease the pan for at least the first use before it seems "seasoned" but after that, you're as golden as the loaves you will turn out in this pan. Great quality, indestructible and it makes us amateur bakers look pretty good when we pull a beautiful loaf out of the oven. Enjoy!
