Discover the pleasure of baking your own baguettes, crusty and full of flavour ! Easy to use, you just place the dough in the holes, cover with the lid and put the mold in the oven. Thanks to the ribs, the dough will not stick, and the lid creates the right level of humidity for baking delicious baguettes. The holes in the lid allow the carbon dioxide to escape during cooking, creating a thin, crispy crust so special to French baguettes. The mold can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Recipe book included. All Emile Henry products are made in France and offer a ten years guarantee.

Resistance Against Mechanical Shocks: During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, our ceramic is even used in restaurants!
Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).
Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

Bad Customer service
Do you really want me to leave a bad review because you refuse to give me a 10% discount worth $34.00? Here it is. I have purchased 3 items; Baguette Baker - $170.00, Pizza Stone - $70.00 and Pullman / Long Loaf Bread Baker - $99.95. We have not used them yet but we are looking forward to baking with them. Since I did not sign up for your email to get notices for new products, I did not get a 10% discount for my first purchase. I'm finding this process somewhat of a "retail extortion" because the only way I can get a 10% refund is to sign up for your emails. I get hundreds of emails in my promotion inbox every month and I wish not to get more simply for purchasing very expensive, quality products. I also read you can't give a refund after purchase. Why is this not possible? I think your company that has been in business for many years as yours would be able to find a way to give the 10% refund that is offered. Especially when I purchased 3 items within 48 hours. It would be good business if you would refund me $34.00 for all my purchases. I have left 3 phone messages and have not received a response from your company. I know the message says you are having phone problems but I was wondering why a large company such as yours is having this problem. It would be a good business to call me to discuss my refund. Can you do this for me? Then when I did finally get a call back, I was transferred to the person that might be able to help me with my refund but the phone just rang endlessly with no answering device so I could leave a message.
Love the baguette baker
The baguettes I have made with this baker are fantastic. They look great and are delicious. I have a bread/potato pot also and it is great too. I have changed the recipes to make it faster by using 2 teaspoons yeast and adding 2 teaspoons sugar. The first rise can be accomplished in 2 hours instead of overnight. Turns out great. I also use semolina flour for the dusting when I am folding and shaping the loaves.
Gluten free baking
Gluten free store bought bread is bad. Got this for my SIL to make her own fresh gluten free baguettes. She is loving it! Still in search of that illusive perfect recipe
Do not purchase
Do not purchase this directly from Emil Henry. The product is great, but customer service is non-existent! You are better off buying it from Amazon or another retailer.
