Bake artisan-style, crusty, golden loaves at home with this long covered pan. Emile Henry's specially designed covered baker helps you make bakery-worthy, artisan breads with crisp, golden crusts and chewy, airy interiors. The domed lid and ceramic walls trap steam to create a dry, crackling exterior. Handles on the lid make it easy to remove, and the ridged bottom of the pan keeps dough from sticking. The base fits neatly inside the lid for more compact storage.
For Cleaning & Care of the product with unglazed area, simply use dishwashing liquid, water, and a sponge – rinse well and air dry.

Resistance Against Mechanical Shocks: During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, our ceramic is even used in restaurants!
Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).
Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

Best baker ever!
I’ve had mine for several years and bought this for my nephew who is starting out on his sourdough journey. I highly recommend this baker .

Gorgeous addition to my kitchen
I've recently started baking bread again and wanted to expand into artisanal loaves. I couldn't be happier with this product. It's beautiful in and of itself, and the loaves I've produced so far are wonderful. I started with one of the recipes provided, the Three-Nut Grainy Loaf, and it came out perfectly (and was delicious!). I'm attaching a photo of another loaf I made to show how beautifully the bread turns out. You won't regret purchasing this item!

Bread at its Best
I had been baking in cast Iron and switching to Emile Henri bread bakers has up the experience 100%. My bread crusts on the outside with a perfect soft consistency on the inside, every time. Love this baker.

Wonderful product
The long loaf bread baker is very versatile. I have used it for other recipes requiring a large crock. Bakes bread beautifully and removing the lid the last 5 minutes created a great European style crust. I plan to use it for many years to come.

pullman baker
I bought myself one last year, and just bought two for family members' wedding gifts. They love it as much as I do!
