so far, I like it. It is light to lift in and out of the oven. The crust seems crispy. I bake sourdough bread and I think the website wasn't that good on teaching how to use the bread cloche other than the recipe in the booklet. I was looking for directions to put it in oven before placing bread in it. how long to pre heat it, and what temp . As I said, I'm still getting used to it. I was using a dutch oven previously for my sourdough baking
Delivered Shattered, No replacement
Terrible, bought on Black Friday, was delivered shattered, recieved replacement for the lid after multiple calls and emails but the shattered base plate still has not been not replaced, multiple emails and calls have been made with no response at this time. I never got to cook with it.
Horrible customer service
Zero stars for customer service. The product was broken during shipping. I emailed pictures the day it arrived… no response. I sent the email to the email address designated by Emile Henry. I followed up 3 days later asking about a replacement because it was a Christmas present… no response. I followed up again 5 days later (8 days total)… no response. I had to buy a different Christmas present. I followed up again 8 days later (16 days total) asking how to get a refund… NO RESPONSE. Emile Henry emailed me today asking that I submit a review so I am submitting this review an additional 10 days later (26 days total) and I still have not received a response to my original email and I still have a broken product sitting in its box and no refund. It’s not Emile Henry’s fault the product was damaged during shipping. But their customer service is absolutely terrible.
Sooooo Grrrrreat
This bread cloche has surpassed all of my expectations. All breads baked in it it have come out delicious and look great.
Excellent Cloche!
This is a fabulous product. I’ve baked three breads so far and each one is just perfect! Much lighter and easier to handle than cast iron. It looks so nice on my fridge when not in use.
