Moroccan Beef Stew Tagine


  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 large onion, sliced
  • 4 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs. beef cubes
  • 4 potatoes, quartered and cubed
  • 1 cup beef or chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Taste of Morocco by Gustus Vitae Condiments
  • 2 cups spinach

Temperature: ° F


On the stove over medium heat, heat the oil and sauté the minced garlic. Add the carrots, onions, and beef, and season with salt, pepper, and Taste of Morocco seasoning blend. Put the lid on for 5 minutes, add the potatoes and stock. Put the lid back on and turn the heat to medium low. Cook for 1 hour on the stove or until the beef is tender, and the carrots and potatoes are cooked through. Add the spinach, put the lid back on, and cook for another 30 minutes.
