Roasted Apples with Caramel 


  • golden delicious apples
  • 7 oz.  sugar
  • 1 3/4 oz. butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Temperature: 325 ° F


Peel, core and cut the apples into slices. Put the apple back together again so that it remains whole. Put the sugar in the casserole and leave to melt over the heat (do not add water), until it turns into caramel. Take off the heat and add the butter and milk. Stir gently to obtain a smooth, thick caramel. Place the apples in the casserole with the caramel. Cover and cook for 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Take out of the oven and serve hot.
