Emile Henry Artisan Bread Baker allows you to bake all kinds of generous sized home-made bread––just like those hand-crafted by artisan!
Simply use white flour to bake a classic sourdough bread or mix flour types (spelt, rye, chestnut…) to bake rustic, authentic loaves, explore different textures and flavors.
Made from Emile Henry innovative ceramic, the Artisan Bread Baker helps create baking conditions identical to a traditional bread oven. It ensures your bread has the required level of humidity while baking to get a perfect, golden, crispy crust with a light and airy inside.
The crisscrossed lines in the base prevent the dough from sticking, and the openings on both ends of the lid make it easy to manipulate. Lastly, upside down, the lid fits inside the base for compact storage. The bright glaze is resistant, non-porous, durable and easy to clean.
For Cleaning & Care of the product with unglazed area, simply use dishwashing liquid, water, and a sponge – rinse well and air dry.

Perfect bread every time
I wish I had know about these bakers a long time ago. Simple and easy to use and creates a perfect loaf every time.

Light and Airy!
I have been baking bread three times a week for the past 12 years using a glass Dutch oven. I shared my house standard recipe with a friend who immediately took it to the next level with one of your products. I could not believe the difference in the bread she made. My bread is delicious and always a crowd pleaser, but hers was even better. So I bought the Artisan Bread Loaf Maker and lo and behold, I got the sophisticated product that she easily produced--a superior crust, open structure interior and just a great taste! So glad I got out of my routine and tried something new. Thanks for a great product!

Dimpled
My artisan loaf bread baker came with a dimple on the lid. Small but in your face obvious. Not happy to receive a "second." I agree with the other commenter that the side handles need to be a bit larger for removing from oven. If you are a first time EH buyer, I recommend seeing these products in the stores, as the photos and descriptions are deceiving, and sometimes lack pertinent information altogether.

Inspiring baker
I put the baker to use 2 days after receiving it. I made the Priscilla Martel’s oatmeal stout bread recipe. Despite over-proofing the bread, the baker was a dream to work with, and produced a tasty loaf. I’ve been inspired to fill out my bread-making utensil collection as a result.
