Our Bread loaf baker allows you to bake all kinds of home-made bread (for sandwiches, gluten-free, rye bread…), with a crispy crust and soft inside. The refractory ceramic and domed lid create the right level of humidity during cooking to get a perfect loaf. The holes in the lid help the dough to rise and create a dry, crispy crust. The ridges on the bottom prevent the dough from sticking. The handles on the lid make it easy to manipulate. All Emile Henry products are made in France and offer a ten years guarantee.
For Cleaning & Care of the product with unglazed area, simply use dishwashing liquid, water, and a sponge – rinse well and air dry.
Oven - can be preheated empty, Microwave, and Dishwasher

to microwave or oven.

Slow cooking, keeps hot.

Easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
Resistance Against Mechanical Shocks: During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, our ceramic is even used in restaurants!
Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).
Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

We are proud to offer products made from very high quality ceramic, which pass very rigorous quality control by our team. We are therefore pleased to offer a 10 year guarantee on all Emile Henry products. Our warranty covers any production fault or quality problem with the product when used in a normal domestic environment, and respecting the care and use instructions. Any variation in the finish of the item is due to the handiwork carried out in our workshops and does not alter in any way the culinary qualities of our dishes. Cinnamon Raisin Bread Every Weekend
Your products are amazing. Waiting for you breadbox to come back in stock so I can keep my bread fresher longer. Love your recipes. I would love to see lower carb alternatives for my diabetic husband. He is feeling left out. Also hoping to get an answer to a question. Can the cookware be used in my Breville Joule oven

Basic Bread
This loaf turned out well. Great for sandwiches, toast, toasted sandwiches... Wonderful!!

Where have you been all my life?!
I am 71 and have been baking bread all my life (in my early 20's I must have killed yeast with hot water and the bread was as flat going in as coming out). Learned a lot since then. I have been trying to get a nice crispy crust and working at it with conventional bakeware. Then I found Emile. Oh what a difference the right tools make. Finally, I am at peace with good bread results!! Pictured is what is left from the Basic Slicing Bread recipe found on this website.
