Our Bread loaf baker allows you to bake all kinds of home-made bread (for sandwiches, gluten-free, rye bread…), with a crispy crust and soft inside. The refractory ceramic and domed lid create the right level of humidity during cooking to get a perfect loaf. The holes in the base and lid help the dough to rise and create a dry, crispy crust. The ridges on the bottom prevent the dough from sticking. The handles on the lid make it easy to manipulate. All Emile Henry products are made in France and offer a ten years guarantee.

Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).


Resistance Against Fading Colors: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.

Ease of use and well designed

I recently used the Bread Loaf Baker to make banana bread and country white bread. Both turned out perfectly. In addition, the baker was easy to clean. I am very happy with the product and the excellent service!

Amazing

I have been experimenting with making simple breads at home. I used my standard King Arthur bread recipe, but did a second rise in the loaf pan and brushed the top of the bread with water as recommended by Emile Henry. It was beyond perfect! I can’t wait to order a couple of their other bread bakers!

I had been looking for a loaf-style bread baking Dutch Oven type for my artisan-style rye bread. This fits the bill 100%.

Sourdough whole wheat loaf

Hi I have two of these and love them. I use 600 g of stoneground whole wheat. 480 grams of water 150 grams of sourdough (floats on water- ready) and 21 grams of salt Per loaf. I mix let sit for an hour- stretch it- then after another half hour stretch again then let sit for about another 7 hours till doubled. Fold and put in the pans to proof in the refrigerator- over night -about 8- 10 hours. Then heat the oven to 450 degrees and take out the refrigerated covered pans and put them in the oven - I dab the top of the loaf with water and sprinkle sesame seeds. Leave them covered for 50 minutes and then uncovered at 425 for 18 min.. probably don’t need to uncover... but they are perfect and very risen everytime.
