Love this Clay color baker for pumpkin spice bread

I absolutely adore this dish. I was looking for a perfect dish to bake Williams Sonoma’s quick gluten-free pumpkin spice bread, and this is it. It bakes beautifully and the break comes out super-moist compared to a multitude of other baking forms I own. I also love that I can slide the bread right back into this dish after cooling and that I don’t have to worry about the knife scratching the surface. The Clay color is fantastic, goes with anything.

modest, humble little loaf

When you’re not in the mood to commit to a full-size loaf, it’s this pan to the rescue! Its styling’s a bit frumpy in my opinion, and it has no cover available, but it’s just the thing when you simply want to throw together a lovely little something without having to dedicate the resources to a full production.

Perfect size and shape for home made breads

Normally, whenever I follow any recipe for home made breads, they always turn out in a flat shape -- never ever tall and rounded like store bought bread. I finally learned what's wrong --- All standard bread pans are too large. (Why do they do that??) This pan is smaller on the bottom than on the top. The stated pan size is (always) based on the top. All I can say is that my breads now turn out in a super attractive and professional shape, albeit a bit smaller than a traditional store bought loaf. I'm buying a 2nd one so I can bake a gift loaf when I bake for myself, plus a 3rd one to give the pan to my friend who also loves to bake. And it's such a nice heavy earthy feel! Love this pan.
